Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event

The last weekend in April is the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event that is attend by thousands from around the world. Scott and I make our annual trek to the Kentucky Horse Park located right here in Lexington for one of the finest equestrian events. My favorite event is the Cross-Country event.

This rider seemed relieved that he made the jump.

This was a terrible mishap that happened in front of us. The rider's mount caught it's hoof on the jump and caused a fall. Both horse and rider were fine but this did disqualify them from the rest of the event.

This is my favorite picture. This was a very difficult jump and this rider and horse were amazing.

I caught Scott taking pictures of me instead of the event.

Going through all of the photographs from the weekend has me already looking forward to next year's event. I hope to see you there. Valorie

It was a beautiful day to photograph Amber and Michael's engagement sitting. I met them at Keeneland for a pure Kentucky feel to their photos. They were great to photograph which has me already looking forward to photographing them on their wedding day. Scott

Grace & Jackson | Lexington Ky Childrens Photographer

I'm not sure if the appeal for Grace and Jackson is getting their picture taken or getting to play with Scott. They both have had their picture taken at Studio Walz since they were born and they have always loved their time here. Scott loves the time he spends with them as well. King | Lexington Ky Family Photography

We had the opportunity to meet the King family during their recent studio portrait session. They came to us by referral of a close friend and that is how we get introduced to many of our clients. They are a fun loving family which made them wonderful to photograph.

Robert | Lexington Ky Senior Photography

I was excited when Robert's mother called to make his senior photography appointment. You see, we have been photographing Robert since he was 8 years old and truly love him and his family. Robert is so dear to Scott and myself and how proud we are of him. But before we get to his senior pictures I must show you some of his "younger days" with us.

 

We photographed his sitting completely on location.  We love it when our seniors have something they are passionate about and with Robert it's his golf game.  A great way to start the sitting was taking a few shots with his clubs.

Now, Robert is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School, Lexington Ky and he's going to University of Kentucky this fall.  Warm regards, Valorie

Ryan | Lexington Ky Senior Photography

Ryan is a recent graduate of Lexington Catholic High School,Lexington Ky. We began the sitting at the studio with some great classic shots then to Waveland Mueseum State Historic Site for some fantastic location pictures. This is Violet's very first professional portrait sitting. She is just a few weeks old and extremely precious.

  

 

 

We have known her parents for a few years now while they finished graduate school. Soon they will be returning to Texas to begin a new life and they have no idea how much they will be missed. We wish them great joy and happiness
