Caroline | Lexington Ky Senior Photographer

Your are not imagining things if you are thinking this beautiful young lady looks familiar. You last saw her on our blog in June 2010. We have been photographing Caroline and her family for many years and we are delighted to have the opportunity to photograph her senior portraits.

I must mention that Caroline is also part of our Second Presbyterian Church family. As you know from reading previous posts that our church family is very special to us and that includes Caroline. Our church and it's members are very much a part of who are. Thank you Caroline for being a part of our large church family.

Caroline chose to be photographed home of a family friend. I love this photograph that shows off the architecture of this library along with a fantastic subject. The black and white photographs are probably my favorite pictures but let's be honest, they are all my favorites.

Rosemary | Lexington Ky Senior Photography

I just had to do it. I just had to show you pictures we have taken of Rosemary since she was seven years old. I love to watch the children we photograph grow up and I love to brag about what wonderful young ladies and gentlemen they have become. Rosemary is no different. She is quite an amazing young woman and will be off to University of Cincinnati this fall.

A current student of Lexington Catholic High School and cheerleader. I could have put together a collage of Rosemary's tumbling pictures. She is a competitive cheerleader and that means she has great tumbling skills. If anyone has ever seen these competitive teams in action you would be astonished at their ability.

Angela | Lexington Ky Senior Photographer

Angela is a gal that is going places...really going places....truly going places. She's has actually already left Lexington to spend her senior year of high school in Germany. Now that's going places at a young age.

Matt | Lexington Ky Senior Pictures

I'm excited about showing you Matt's pictures. You ask why? Matt is an amazing young man and he is extremely smart and ambitous for his age. Let me tell you a little more about Matt. Starting with his junior year of high school he began taking classes through a special program at our local community college. This allowed him to finish his last two years of high school at the same time taking a full load of college classes. Oh no it doesn't stop here, he also has a job and helps his parents with their catering business. Since I'm rambling on and on about Matt I might as well mention that he has wonderful manners. I know that doesn't seem worth mentioning but we have all noticed that common courtesy isn't what it used to be. His picture will soon be on display in our front window and you can see more of his pictures on our website Studio Walz.

I know Matt will go far with his career and you never know he maybe our next Steve Jobs. My best, Valorie

Valorie Blog

We have watched Marcie and her friends grow up as a part of PL Dunbar's Marching Band's Color Guard. These young adults are amazingly hardworking. I'm always very impressed with these students. I wish Marcie continued success in college. Have fun! Valorie

Colin | Lexington Ky Senior Photographer

Colin comes from a family that we have gotten to know over the years. We have been photographing him along with his sisters as member of the PL Dunbar High School Marching Band. Colin is such a talented guy, besides playing the drums for Dunbar's band but he is quite an accomplished guitar player as well. We wish him luck at college this fall. Valorie

David | Lexington Ky Senior Photography

We have been photographing David for many years as a member of the P.L. Dunbar Marching Band. Now, we had the opportunity to photograph him for his high school senior portraits. This gave us time to get to know David better because picture day for the band is very hectic when we are photographing 150+ students. That doesn't give us much time to get to know the students. We found out that he has a great mind for math (I wish I could tap into that). He will be attending the University of Tennessee (we won't hold that against him) this fall and will be majoring in Architecture.
