We photographed the Culp family this summer with a beautiful session at Waveland Mueseum Historic Site.
We first met Gesela when she came to the studio for a business portrait. We immediately hit it off. You know how some people have a magnetic personality and you just click with them. Well that’s Gesela. You just can’t help but like her.
Then one thing led to another and she wanted us to photograph her family. Of course we were happy to. Scott traveled to her home to do a more personal family portrait sitting.
What a beautiful family she is blessed to have. Scott and Valorie
It’s always an honor when we have the opportunity to photograph someone from our Second Presbyterian Church family. I have spoken before how our church family is special to us and these boys are very much a part of that.
Richard is a senior at the University of Memphis and Matt is off to Western Kentucky University as a freshman.
As you can see both young men have achieved Eagle Scout through years of hard work and dedication. What an accomplishment! Valorie
The Roenker’s have graced our doors since their oldest son was a baby. Many of you have seen his black & white picture on what we call “the wall of honor”. The same photograph now hangs in the maternity ward of Central Baptist Hospital.
This family started the tradition of having family photographs taken with each new child. What a wonderful gift they have given each of their children. These pictures will always be cherished not only by themselves but their future generations.
Because this is a family tradition the kids know that coming to see “Mr. Scott” is a fun time that they all will enjoy. The children that we photograph from birth come in and leave time after time with a smile on their face because they know they are going to have a good time. Our love and best wishes Scott & Valorie
I’ve spoken before about how it feels when we see our clients and friends – it’s like having a mini family reunion. It was this feeling that overcame me when this family walked through our doors. I’ve known the father of this clan since he was a small boy and now to see him with his wonderful wife and family always gives me those warm fuzzy feelings.
His parents are whom I give credit for meeting my wonderful husband Scott. If it wasn’t for an invitation to go to church with them I would have never met the man to whom I would eventually marry. He has been the best thing that has happened in my life so you must imagine I keep this family in high esteem.
This couple may look familiar because a few of the their wedding pictures are on the Studio Walz blog intro. They had the most beautiful wedding a few years ago in the Dominican Republic and they were wonderful enough to ask us to be their wedding photographers. What an opportunity to travel with them to celebrate such an important time in their lives. Now, a few years later they have asked us again to photograph them but now with their precious baby boy. And precious he was on this fall day.
What an opportunity for this little tike to be photographed with his grandmother. This will be a picture that he and his grandmother will cherish forever.
I just love this kind of photograph, don’t you?
