We are a full time photography studio and truly care about our clients and want to help them document and remember the happiest times of their lives. We have won many, many awards for our work and Scott is recognized as a Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman by the Professional Photographers of America is a PPA National Award Recipient and National Photographer of the Year in 2009.
Scott also has been awarded the Kentucky Degree of Excellence, the Kentucky Award and the KSD Degree. He is one of only a handful of photographers in the country to have received all of these degrees and recognitions. Our photographs have been published nationally in magazines and are currently being used in national PPA ads as examples of the best of the best in wedding photography.
Does all of that matter? Sure, but what really matters to us is providing our best possible work for every client no matter how simple or complex their photography needs. We love what we do and it shows.
Studio Walz is really Scott & Valorie Walz. We started our business after returning to Lexington from California. Why Lexington? We went to the University of Kentucky, met at Second Presbyterian Church, fell in love and were married at the same church. We cherish Lexington and the state of Kentucky and choose to live where we fell in love.
